Even though Andrew is upstairs asleep in his bed in his old room. He is here for a few days and Mama is happy. And since I can’t have them all here at once, I will just miss the others and reminisce.

When you get a call from your child away at college and right after hey, is “how much money do the Harris’ have?”, your first thought is oh no he hit another car and my insurance is going up again. But no, he wants to go to Transylvania for a month to do agricultural research next summer. This is from a child who was furious when his test in high school indicated he was suited for a job in agriculture. I reminded him of that today. And I reminded him his Dad works for good old USDA and he is getting furloughed at midnight tonight. But yes, I made the deposit just like he knew I would. There is a reason they call Mom.
